Be Subject!
What an interesting twelve men that Jesus chose to be around him amid his ministry. Andrew, who is always seen in the posture of bringing someone to Jesus. John, the son of Zebedee (son of thunder). James, one of the sons of thunder, mellowed in his old age. Matthew, who was the tax collector and who saw Christ in his writing as the King. Phillip is the analytical one. Doubting Thomas, who did not believe unless he saw or touched. James, the son of Alphaeus, who was stuck on the law. Simone was the zealous leader. Judas, who sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Peter was one of the three closest to Christ. It was Peter, the liar, who denied Christ. Peter was eventually restored and recommissioned. Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith would not fail him. You have to learn how to suffer.
We wrestle with the question of authority instead of understanding the qualification of one being in authority. The Adamic Covenant was for male and female to rule together. When man and woman sin, headship becomes the condition of the curse. If a man is not part of Christ, he is not qualified to subject you to authority. In a relationship, there is suffering involved because if you do not permit people to grow, they will never grow. The older woman will teach the younger woman how to submit themselves to their own husband.
Every time you cannot focus on the trial because there is a better outcome on the other side of your trial. Suffering is not designed to kill you. It was designed to kill everything that is not like God.
